Fashionista of the day
Fashion Friday it is. We talking street fashion. Today's fashionista is Pushy Bonkolo from Umtata. I love her retro look. I love the color and the detail she's added to her maxi dress. The belt, it added another dimension to her outfit. Talking about bringing back the retro. Well done Pushy. What's your thought on Pushy 's ensemble?

Fashionista of the day
Today's fashionista is Nolitha Mqunyana from Johannesburg. A designer of Rayo de Sol label and a business woman. Her ensemble is chic and beautiful. It almost feels as if she did nt have any hustle putting it together. I love the detail. Her high waist skirt which she has designed herself is made from super wool. Her shirt, also made by her is made from Valentino exclusive fabric. I love the touch of a pink shoulder bag, to bring out the colour in her outfit. If you would like to know more about her designer label please e-mail me at cliqcliq@mweb.co.za

Winter closet
Its that time of the year again, when we need to re organise our closets. It feels like yesterday when we first had our first warm Summer days in Cape Town. Its Autumn already and one needs to start packing those Summer clothes away. Swapping fedoras for Turbans. I must say Winter clothing is not my favorite but there are certain winter items that I really love. I have created 5 Winter inspiration ensembles. If you are buying winter clothes remember to create a vibrant wardrobe. Mix trendy with classics. Try to be as dynamic as possible. Must haves for this Winter is a leather biker jacket or pull over, biker boots are still trending, brogues, maxi skirts, blazers, oversize sweater or jersey, beige coat and a lot of different accessory. Have you done your winter shopping? What's bomber item in your list. I just got mine a faux leather & denim biker jacket.

Inspired by Louis Vuitton collection
I'm loving Louis Vuitton's latest collection. I'm going to swing by their store at the V&A Waterfront this weekend. I'm not sure if this collection is available here in South Africa. I'm totally in love with this leather skater skirt, its so beautiful. I love both the color and the detail. It's a must have for this coming Winter together with this box bag. What's your thought on this skirt? How much would you be willing to pay for it? I'll post details of my trip to their store later next week.

Food for thought
Well, I'm no motivational speaker but I thought I will post it anyway. There is always a way! Its all about taking one step at a time. Easier said than done I know. One needs to always remind themselves that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. All that is needed is a bit of perseverance and focus.

Timeless clothing items
These are 6 items I think are timeless in any ladies wardrobe. There is more but to me these ones are core items that can transform your look from a super cool street wear to a classic formal dinner wear.
1.Good pair of jean
A good pair of jean is an investment. When buying one make sure its for your shape. If you are slim a skinny Jean will look good on you and if you are bootylicious a straight cut will look good on you. If you have a flat tummy then high rise cut will look good on you. You can find a good pair of jean almost anywhere depending on the price range. For inexpensive pairs look at Woolworths, Zara andTopshop
2.Perfect Blazer
Blazers can turn your look into a super cool, sophisticated look. Invest on them, if you can't afford as many colors as you wish- at least own a black one. If you have a budget for a tailored one, why not take a trip to a tailor. Nice thing with blazers, it will look good with everything in your closet from dresses, skirts, jeans to pants. It can be worn with any shoe from pumps to converse. This is one clothing investment you will truly get a nice return from.
3. Denim shirt
It's timeless piece that has been around for over a century. Its a hot and key item for all year round. I saw one recently for a very affordable price a Pick & Pay clothing. Just try a studded one it really makes an outfit hot.
4. Little black dress
5. White t-shirt
A simply item that never goes out of style. If you don't have a white Tees please buy one.
6. Pencil heel shoe
Almost looks good on any thing. I love pencil heel shoe, whether it's a kitten heel or a high heel. You can wear them from weddings to functions to work, almost everywhere. I find Guess heels comfortable with beautiful shapes and also wont do much dent in your pocket. Just make sure the toe is not too pointy or too rounded.
Is there a
anything you think I have left out? Please share your own timeless items.

Photo of the day
I have been away for far too long but while I was away I got to see so much fashion and style. I appreciate anything beautiful. I love it when people take chances with their clothes. I love it when they make any ensemble looks effortless. Above is such a beautiful ensemble. I love what Yollz has done with the prints. This is swag at its best, you will not get anything better than this. I love it. I hope you agree with me.
